Jan Snel receives the Golden Brick for the Safety Unit. The Safety Unit is a unique concept that is used for safety instructions and contributes to greater safety awareness. This unique concept is now being rewarded.

At the former Elzenhagen sports park in Amsterdam-Noord, Startblok Elzenhagen was delivered completely ready for living, at the beginning of April. Together with the municipality of Amsterdam and housing corporations De Key and Eigen Haard, Jan Snel has developed and built here no less than 540 residences.

The municipality of The Hague expects growth in the number of students in the city in the coming years and is therefore eagerly looking for housing (Nederlands Dagblad 12 April). You can read Harry van Zandwijk's vision here, in the Nederlands Dagblad (published on Thursday 2 May 2019).

In the space of four months, Jan Snel has developed 30 homes in Ten Post, Groningen, in four months, for people who have to leave their own homes due to earthquake damage. The project consists of 6 ground-floor family holmes and 24 family homes with a roof.

Camelot and Jan Snel have been given the green light for the realisation of 400 temporary homes at the Utrecht Science Park, which will remain standing for 15 years. From the candidates, Utrecht University chose their plan to fill lot 22 at the Utrecht Science Park. The houses will be realised by early 2020.

Eindhoven is seen as an attractive place to study, with the result that the city is struggling with a shortage of student residences. That's why Vestide, part of Woonbedrijf, was looking for an affordable solution that could be realised at a rapid pace. After some research, the organisation ended up with Jan Snel, who started a collaboration. The plan is to, within a few months, build 300 student residences near the Berenkuil in Eindhoven, within cycling distance from the colleges and the university.
